6th Bavarian Reserve Division

This mobalised Army unit was formed in October 1914, as part of a new wave of Divisions (43-54 Reserve, 6th Bavarian and 1st Naval).

The 6th Bavarian Reserve Division and and the 8th Bavarian Reserve Division combined to form the II Bavarian Reserve Corps

6th Bavarian Infantry Division

This Peacetime Army unit was formed in November 1815

The 5th Bavarian and 6th Bavarian Divisions combined to form the III Bavarian Corps.

The Division was based in Ragensburg
